Hampton Bishop

"Welcome to the beautiful village of Hampton Bishop - dedicated to providing a thriving community for our residents and visitors."

About

Hampton Bishop offers beautiful scenic views, country walks, a nature reserve, stunning features and buildings, regular family events and much more. It is a caring and thriving community situated in Herefordshire. Hampton Bishop lies immediately to the south east of the City of Hereford. The Parish is very irregular in shape, bordered to the south by a meander of the River Wye, to the north and east by the River Lugg which flows into the wye, and to the west by its boundary with the city. This now includes a new housing development, Bishopfields.

There are over a 100 homes located along the three lanes that curve through the village (all leading to St Andrew's Church), and along the B4224 main road. Our local Pub, The Bunch of Carrots can be found on the main road offering a warm welcome, great food and a family atmosphere.

Our parish now includes residents from Bishopfields, increasing our numbers to around 300 homes. It's great to have new faces in our community.
