One of the finest harmonica and melodeon players of his generation, Will Pound has pushed the boundaries working on and with a number of projects and musicians which in the past and present include Will Pound and Eddy Jay, Phoebe Rees, Jenn Butterworth, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Liz Carrol, Martin Simpson, Guy Chambers, Concerto Caledonia, Robbie Williams and The Hillsborough Charity Single. He has travelled across most of Europe and as far as Australia for his music delighting and giving audiences awe inspiring performances.
He has appeared on TV & Radio many times including appearances on BBC Breakfast, BBC2, Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, MTV, Radio 1xtra to name a few. Will has been nominated 3 times for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Musician Of The Year Award in 2012, 2014 and 2015, has won FATEA Magazine Instrumentalist Of the Year 2013, 2014 and also was nominated for Songlines Magazine best newcomer.
He recently appeared on soundtracks to TV Comedy Breeders starring Martin Freeman and the Warburtons TV Advert starring Robert De Niro!
Will Pound will be delighting his audience with two 45-minute sets of music performed on melodeon and harmonica.
Refreshments provided during the interval! Also, an opportunity to pay a visit to the merchandise table and buy a CD or two. Cash payments accepted on the day!

Due to social distancing, seating capacity is limited to 30 people (advanced booking).
Please book early to avoid disappointment.
It would be much appreciated if tickets can be purchased by 12th February. This will give us an idea of numbers and to plan accordingly.
If the event is unable to go ahead, tickets will be refunded and if possible, the concert rescheduled.

Hampton Bishop Village Hall is currently operating as a Covid-secure venue. Hand sanitizing stations in situ and wearing of face-coverings encouraged. Seats will be spaced 1m apart, the room ventilated and the maximum capacity is 30-40 people. It is also recommended that visitors take a LFT prior to attending an event.
